“Upper Finlarig Cottage was just right for our family. Patio doors opening out onto large gardens for kids to play. Very safe away from roads. Got them off their wi-fi ! Wildlife amazing. Brilliant area. Used bikes, hired canoe. Great fun.”

A wonderful place to stay. It’s slightly off the beaten track but better for it. There’s great bird life in the garden. Red squirrels put in an appearance too. Roedeer in the nearby field. The owners are very friendly.

Simon Robbins, Nottingham, February, 2022.

“The cottage is in a wonderful situation – so quiet –  and was comfortable and cosy with an excellent garden full of wildlife. Very relaxing. Explored north of the Cairngorms. Very central. Grantown and Aviemore close by.
